Velveteen & English Lops
At Lilylane we are very pleased to have these two beautiful breeds.
English Lops
English Lops are a larger breed of rabbit weighing about 9-10lbs. They have a destinctive shape with a mandolin shaped body and extremely long ears, measuring over 21" from tip to tip. Below is a picture of G'Day's Sidney our Broken Tort Doe

Velveteen Lops
Velveteen Lops have a similar body shape to that of the english lop but they are smaller, approximately 5- 6 lbs. They also have the plush velvet like coat similar to that of a rex or mini rex. The velveteen lop is not an official ARBA breed but will be presented again in 2010 with the hopes of becoming a recognized breed. At Lilylane we have a beautiful trio of velveteen lops. We look forward to being able to offer some young velveteen rabbits to their fans here in South Western Ontario.
